Good pub food, everyone loves a Schnitty or a Parmi. (They have a lot more, I just always have a Parmi) 5min walk from the house. They also have a shuttle bus but it is an easy flat walk.

Very popular and fantastic value that is hard to beat. Order early or expect a long wait. Luckily you can always grab a beverage or two at the bar. Wednesday= Trivia. Friday = meat raffle. Often live music on a weekend.

Surf n Beach
Best in a Southerly to Easterly swell. South corner offers protection from the southerly wind and typically less crowded than the more popular Scotts Head.
Grassy Head
Great to avoid the crowd at Scott’s Head. Beach is patrolled in holiday season only.
Scott’s is perfect, protected from the southerly, clean long lines from the point to main beach. The beach is patrolled and flagged so a good option for those not looking for isolation. It draws a crowd but nowhere near like the crowds of Crescent. I ride a mid length or fish out there for a little more paddle power under head high. It will hold the swell so you can drag the step up or gun out when it gets big.

If you are after a beach all to yourself (well most of the time) and want the deserted island feel, this is your spot. Unpatrolled and out there just 8mins drive from the house.
