They have been recognized for the best lobster roll on the seacoast many times. Nothing fancy, no ambiance, but if lobster rolls, clam strips, fried haddock sandwich or a burger, hot dog fries are on your wish list give the Beach Plum a try.

Tendercrop farm features mostly their own eggs, dairy, veggies, and meat. In addition there are prepared food items, a bakery, flowers, gift shop. Certainly worth checking out.

This wonderful farm market is one of the oldest operating farms in New Hampshire. There are some farm animals for the kids to check out, blue berry picking in season, and inside is a nice organic farm market and gift shop. They make a pretty decent Latte also.

The Terra Cotta Pasta company is actually in a mill building in Dover. They sell raviolis (yes including lobster), plus other pasta's at the factory, through many local markets (Tendercrop, Emery Farm) plus through their store in Kittery which also features quiet a few prepared foods.

We put this under the local tab. They sell seafood, mostly from their own boat, plus have a nice restaurant. Their fish tacos, haddock sandwiches, are all excellent. Plus you can get fresh gulf of Maine Haddock, Halibut, Tuna, Scallops according to what the boats bring in. They have frozen chowders for takeout. It's well worth bringing some home... especially freezing up a few containers of scallops. All of their fishing is through sustainable methods, and they insist on proper living wages for all crewmembers providing their food.
