Neighborhoods
Bushwick is both a historically Puerto Rican neighborhood, and is currently at the heart of Brooklyn's indie/artsy culture. Full of beautiful graffiti murals, taco trucks, thrift stores, and music studios, along with restaurants, bars and cafes, Bushwick has much to offer any visitor. It is only a 20-minute train ride to Manhattan via the J/Z line (5 min walk), or the L line (10 min walk), and down the block from lots of magical places like The Love Gallery, L-Train Vintage, Zatar, and Happy Fun Hideaway.

This is an incredible space to support a Black queer artist, activist, and yes former mayoral candidate, all in the spirit of love! It's a thrift store, gathering and event space, and art gallery all in one. You'll know it by the giant re-purposed school bus in front!
