Designated swimming beaches are located at the following parks:

Hanks Creek Park 39.3 mi 43 min and on the way to Lufkin
Designated swim beaches have safety features such as bouys to keep out boats, controlled slopes and depth, sandy beach areas, benches, and ranger patrols. Swimming is at your own risk.
