Overground is underrated
Overground (Orange line) will get you to any of the tube stations (undergraound) that you need. The trains from Deptford get to London Bridge in 6 minutes. The best way to see the city is on foot, so walk along the river thames or take the Thames Clipper boat service.
The cycle apps are also great, but stick to the Cycle Superhighways as traffic is sometimes a little heavy.
