📍UPDATE ON ACCESS TO THE VIA DELL’AMORE ❤️ The Via dell’Amore will finally reopen to the world starting on August 9th, 2024. Here are the latest updates from Riomaggiore’s town hall regarding access: 🗓️ Access to the Via dell’Amore is by reservation only. The visiting hours will be: 📌HIGH SEASON: From April 1st to October 31st: 8:30am - 9:30pm (the last entry will be at 9pm) 📌LOW SEASON: From November 1st to March 31st: 9:30am - 5pm (the last entry will be at 4:30pm) ⏱️Visitors will need to book a time slot; the slots are every fifteen minutes starting on the hour (so the increments will be :00/:15/:30/:45). No more than 100 people will be allowed to book for each time slot. 🎟️Visitors can buy their Cinque Terre Cards with the Via dell’Amore supplement STARTING AUGUST 9TH in the following locations: ➡️ On the official website: www viadellamore info ➡️ On the Cinque Terre National Park’s website (although it looks like you’ll be redirected to the first website I listed after you’ve booked your Cinque Terre Card) ➡️ In person at the Cinque Terre National Park Info Points (in all stations between La Spezia Centrale and Levanto) ⚠️ During high season, the Via dell’Amore will be one-way for visitors, so unless you have exclusive access (see below) visitors will need to enter the path from Riomaggiore and exit in Manarola. 🏃The walk is usually a 20-minute stroll but they’ve announced that 30 minutes will be the maximum amount of time allowed on the Via dell’Amore during visiting hours (don’t panic if you have mobility issues or extenuating circumstances, I’m sure they will be flexible in these cases). We’ll need to wait and see how fiscal they will be about the maximum time allotment (I’ll keep you updated). 👭👬👭👫 Organized groups will be limited in size to 30 people with reservations and payment required at least 72 hours in advance. 💥🧨EXCLUSIVE ACCESS: For those staying in accommodations within the Comune di Riomaggiore (which encompasses the villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Volastra and Groppo) with a “resident tourist” pass (a.k.a.“Guest Card” — a special QR code that will be provided to you by your host, it attests that you are paying the municipality’s city tax) you will receive a €2 discount on the price of the Cinque Terre Card with the Via dell’Amore supplement and, more importantly, EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to the Via dell’Amore, JUST LIKE LOCALS! 💥💥💥 ❗️Heads up: For those staying in the Comune di Riomaggiore, when you purchase the Cinque Terre Card with the Via dell’Amore supplement (don’t forget to select the discounted rate) you’ll still have to select a time slot, but you can pick one at random because you will actually be able to access the Via dell’Amore at any time between 7am and 1am during the duration of your stay (these dates will be listed on your Guest Card). This unlimited access has no time or direction limit (so you can enter from Manarola and exit in Riomaggiore or vice-versa and you won’t have to worry about a time cap as long as you’re out by closing time). ⚠️IMPORTANT: For the exclusive access, you will need to: 1️⃣ Stay in the Comune di Riomaggiore (which includes Riomaggiore, Manarola, Volastra and Groppo) and request the QR code for the “Guest Card” (resident tourist pass) from your host 2️⃣ Buy the Cinque Terre Card with the Via dell’Amore supplement (for at least one day during your stay, it doesn’t matter which day so long as it falls during your stay) 3️⃣ Bring your ID and all passes with you (as everything will be checked at the gate and names on passes and IDs must match) 📣 If you are staying in the Cinque Terre in accommodations with the CETS certification (Carta Europea del Turismo Sostenibile) you will have access to discounts and differentiated access compared to normal visitors (your host will give you all the details but ask in advance as not many accommodation providers have this certification).

Alimentari e supermercati
