Check out the General Store in Lansing just 12 minutes away and try arguably some of the best coffee you may have ever tasted. Also while there grab a slice of pizza from “Pie on the Mountain” all while taking in the sites of Creeper Trail Park on the river where some of the best fly fishing on the river is none to be.

This place is a staple in West Jefferson to visit. Great beer and the food is amazing. The warm pimento cheese appetizer is amazing.

Just 20 minutes into West Jefferson and you can visit an amazing town with local breweries and great boutique stores and outdoor adventure stores. Wonderful place to spend an afternoon and see the mountain town culture.
