Favorite neighborhoods in New York City
My favorite neighborhood in the city. West Village has cute boutiques, trendy restaurants, cobble stone streets, and brownstone buildings. Notable venues include the Village Vanguard jazz club and the Stonewall Inn bar, site of the 1969 riots that launched the gay rights movement. The historically arty area also has piano bars, cabarets and theaters.

The closest park to the apartment. I like to come here for a bit of nature in the city or to watch the sunset.
