Stretches all along the coast line. Great for a good jog. Laying out in the sun is not typical as it’s usually a little chilly. But.. about 20-40 days a year it’s really warm and gets packed. At the same time you can also visit Sutro Baths, Lands End, the Cliff House, Golden Gate Park, and the Zoo.

Lots to do in here. Great for a jog, walk, picnic, museums, gardens, the bison, the Windmills, you name it. Thursday nights at the Academy of Sciences they keep it open late and have special events with multiple bars set up through the museum. Check out their website if they have a special exhibit you’re interested in. They have a Planetarium as well with excellent shows.

I have not been here in a long time. But a good family spot. From what I remember it was a pretty consciousness zoo.. But if you’ve been to the Zoo in the Bronx in New York City it’s probably not nearly as impressive.
