Bush Walk
Local Walking Trails
Close out and back walk from the beginning of the Channel Highway in Taroona (5 minutes drive away) up to the Mt Nelson Lookout.
Approx 2 hours return. Not for the feint hearted as it can be quite strenuous. Mostly uphill terrain but the view and coffee at the Mt Nelson Lookout at the top is worth it. Trip back down much easier on the heart but harder on the knees!

Great local hang out. Beer garden, indoor option, even an old Metro bus to shelter you from the weather. Great food options, load of independent beers and the bar staff are pretty awesome too (yep, my daughter works there!)
