Always call first for their hours and to see if they still charge to enter the property. Keep in mind you'll be driving dirt roads so I wouldn't go if it's been raining.

This is our local beach that does fill up fast. Pine Island also has a beautiful sunset. They charge a fee for the beach, but you can always drive in an hour or so before sunset for free.

Kayak down the Weeki Wachee River with clear blue water. You must make a reservation prior to your trip because they fill up fast.
