LEKU brings the pleasures of eating in Spain's enchanting Côte Basque region to 1100 NW 23rd Street in Miami's Allappatah neighborhood, at the new Rubell Museum, opened in December 2019. The new museum is housed in six former industrial buildings, connected and transformed by Selldorf Architects. Located less than a mile from its former home in Wynwood, which opened to the public in 1993, the new Museum is closer to downtown Miami and readily accessible via public transportation. Open for lunch and dinner, LEKU will feature innovative cuisine without losing sight of its Basque roots, following the same principle of adhering to seasonal local ingredients and simplistic cooking methods based on tried and true techniques.
LEKU is-operated by an impressive international group of veteran restaurant and hospitality professionals who understand the level of excellence needed to run a successful fine-dining establishment. The management group includes Jeffrey Chodorow of China Grill Management, Alejandro Muguerza of Le Basque Catering in Miami; Andreas Schreiner of Schreiner Hospitality; Terry Zarikian of the New York and South Beach Wine & Food Festivals, and Mikel Goikolea, formerly of Azurmendi Prêt à Porter.
LEKU's lunch and dinner menus, will please guests with full-flavored, fresh, seasonal offerings served in a magical indoor and outdoor setting, and an impressive Basque outdoor wood-fired Josper grill, the centerpiece for the outdoor area, is the transformative power that imparts flavors of embers and flames to Leku’s seafood and meat dishes. The design aesthetic for LEKU was conceptualized by Alejandro Muguerza and has been carefully curated to feel like a gallery restaurant, an extension of the Rubell Museum.

Our love of food and bringing people together is as big as the era that inspires our fare each and every day.
The 11th Street Diner is the place to go for all American favorites such as thick juicy hamburgers and fries and a variety of delicious milk shakes and breakfasts all day.
Our piece of American history is a dining car classic that was first showcased in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, as an original Art deco Diner. Built in 1948 by the paramount dining car company of Haledon, New Jersey, the diner was transported to Wilkes Barre where it opened that year. It continued serving traditional American food for 44 years, at which time it was dismantled and transported to the historic Art Deco District of Miami Beach, Florida.
