Just past the parking area for the Mine Kill Falls trail, you'll find the entrance to Mine Kill State Park. Entry is free, as is the community pool in the summer months. There's a disc golf course, nature programs, and plenty of hiking trails. If you have your own kayaks or paddleboards, the reservoir is open to boaters and paddlers, so long as the reservoir isn't frozen. Plus, the park offers paddleboard and kayak rentals to enjoy the reservoir during the Summer season. It's a great reservoir to view several Bald Eagle nests!
