Visited by royalty including Charles and Camilla ; and huge movie stars like Greta Garbo and even ex presidents of the United States Ronald Reagan ; this is an incredibly beautiful day trip ; a castle on the lake in beautiful gardens and the most stunning scenery you’ll see ; the drive there is extremely picturesque as well passing by Errigal mountain and Dunlewey’s Poison Glen

This beach is a huge white sand beach , it is situated by Donegal airport voted the most scenic airport in the world and you’ll see why if you visit . Great for watching the 2 flights daily landing and taking off from the sand dunes !! Beautiful beach

You’ll find lots of hidden beaches in the area of burtonport, keadue and mulladerg. See our insta page for videos of some of our best beaches @thelakehousedungloe

Lovely friendly atmosphere , warm staff , great music . Find them in Crolly , meenaleck 15 mins drive from the lake house in Dungloe
