Reeder's Alley is the oldest part of the city still standing, with red brick buildings, a cobbled street and log cabins.
It was built in the 1870s, and named after Louis Reeder, who first started using stone and masonry, thinking this would reduce the number of fires in the city. His red brick tenement buildings remain standing to this day.
The Helena Visitor Center, is located here as well, and can give you further ideas on things to see and do around town.
