The recreation center provides a fitness center, a multi-purpose gymnasium, community garden, and multi-purpose facilities to support active/healthy lifestyles. The pool is a heated, twenty-five yard competition pool with a shallow water play area, activity pool, attached dive well-equipped with a one-meter diving board, and wheelchair ramp for accessibility. Also includes playground, restrooms, picnic area, basket hoops, and volleyball nets.

Cedar Point is a great place to see wading birds in the mangrove fringes, watch for dolphins near the adjacent seagrasses and explore the pine flatwoods to find bald eagles, gopher tortoises, as well as a myriad of native plants.
