Sit by the lake sipping a Crescent Mule, watch the sun set, put your toes in the chilly water. Lake Crescent Lodge has a fabulous restaurant and bar, right on the shores of the lake.
It's also a short walk to the Marymere Falls Trail. You can also access Storm King and Barnes trails from here. Or, launch a boat!

The top of the world is only 18 miles from Creekside!
Year round, this is the place to go. Check the weather, you don't want to get stuck in a storm. When they say chains required, they mean it.
You can't get better views. Hike, backpack, snow shoe, ski, snowboard, or just sit on the patio of the ranger station and breathe the air. Deer amble through, crows steel food out of the back of pick up trucks. Kids scream with delight as they run around in the open space.
The trails that leave from here go all over the Olympic Park.
In the summer, catch the star gazers at night. We like to go up and look through the telescopes that the local astronomer sets up.
