Canal boat tour and Discovery Center
For a quick and fun excursion, and to learn a lot about the history of Augusta, go on the canal boat tour! Tours last about an hour, cost around $13 and include admission to the museum/discovery center. Call for tour schedule, but they usually go out at 11 and 2.

Turkish bazaar is an Aladdin’s den of treasures where the owner will invite you to coffee and welcome you to sit and enjoy his Turkish sitting area. I recommend buying something small to thank him for the coffee. Very interesting items and cool pictures.
