Great spot for take out or dine in. I'd recommend the BLT with a fried egg for breakfast. Absolutely the best fried shrimp and oysters ever! The homemade clam chowder is pretty awesome too!

This is one of the last locations on the eastern seaboard where naturalized Spanish stallions still roam freely. Also a fantastic place for shelling and swimming. Wear water shoes because oysters buried in soft sand are like razors! The horses are wild and not tame - please give them space as you would any wild animal.

Easiest place to visit the beach locally, about 25 min drive. Fort Macon is a Civil War era fortification. This is a fantastic place to learn about history and how people lived in military settings in 1800s America.
