5 mins drive with multiple street parkings. It is a popular, flat and long walk by that water with scenic view. The Gorge waterway is beautiful in any season. There are washrooms onsite.

This park is 13 mins drive from our place and it has been one of our most favourite place to go. There are huge and absolutely beautiful trees like in the ‘Avatar’ movie. There are 2 parts of the park on two sides of the highway that connect with each other through a tunnel. Picnic and BBQ area available on a first come first serve basis.

Goldstream Provincial Park
Finlayson Arm RoadThis park is 13 mins drive from our place and it has been one of our most favourite place to go. There are huge and absolutely beautiful trees like in the ‘Avatar’ movie. There are 2 parts of the park on two sides of the highway that connect with each other through a tunnel. Picnic and BBQ area available on a first come first serve basis.
This park is 30 mins walk or 5 mins drive from our place. Please park at the Helmcken road park and ride parking load. The waterfront walk is moderately flat and short and the water view is very fresh, relaxing and beautiful.

This amazing castle, park and trail is just 9 mins drive from our house. Please make sure to visit the Haley park where 17 peacocks are living there. 2005 Sooke RdThis amazing castle, park and trail is just 9 mins drive from our house. Please make sure to visit the Haley park where 17 peacocks are living there. You will be most likely see the peacock beautiful dance there. The castle was also a filming location in the XMen movie series as the school for gifted youngsters run by professor Xavier
Sightseeing
This very beautiful park is only 7 mins from our house. It is great to visit even during or after a light rain. The trail has wood borders and is covered in mulch making it easy and not muddy to walk on.

This park is more than beautiful. It is my most favourite waterfront park with panoramic water view. You can also see it otters here.

Inner harbour pathway is one the best way to discover downtown Victoria. You can see sea planes taking off and landing, parliament building, harbour, marina … and everything that downtown Victoria has to offer. Parking is available at 900 Wharf Street City Lot.

Amazing views of the south island, Straight of Juan de Fuca, and the Olympic Mountains in Washington. It can be quite windy at times, so you will see tons of kite-boarders. You can often see otters and seal, while occasionally eagles and Orcas (if you are lucky)!

Enjoy an un-obstructed view of the Juan de Fuca Straights and stunning blue mountains of Washington State, while relaxing on smooth log, or the warm concrete bench. It's a very peaceful and beautiful place to recharge and relax.
