Amusement Parks
Cocoa Beach is just under an hour to Orlando and all of its attractions. Book your stay with us, and after you take a day to check out one of the awesome parks, you'll have a relaxing beach side oasis to unwind. Our favorite Orlando attraction is Islands of Adventure at Universal (Jurassic Park, Hogwarts/Hogsmeade, The Hulk, etc) but Universal is almost equally as awesome (Diagon Alley, The Mummy, MIB, Transformers, etc). Of the Disney Parks, we like Animal Kingdom the best but Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and Epcot are also great!

Kayaking from Kings Landing was an awesome experience. It's just north of Orlando but worth the drive in our opinion. We knew we wanted to try a natural spring and chose this destination because we were guaranteed a time and kayaks. The Springs at the different State parks also look amazing, but we heard they can reach capacity early on and then everyone else is turned away.

A 2 hour drive from the Condo on Cocoa Beach, it’s easy to spend a day exploring the Castillo, St. Augustine Beach, and historic St. Augustine.

Sea Turtle Hatch
We were lucky enough to witness a sea turtle hatch over the summer. If you come across one, it's important to NOT assist the hatchlings. They build strength getting from their nest to the ocean. They also have little food packs on their underside that could be easily dislodged if handled. Most often a sea turtle nest is cordoned off with stakes and tape BUT some (like the one we saw) are unmarked. We reported the hatching we saw to the Sea Turtle Space Coast website.
It's very informative!
