The Best Easy Hikes and climbing in PR.
During World War II, Julio Enrique Monagas Park was known as Buchanan's Powder Magazine for its 78 powder magazines (“bunkers”) where ammunition, weapons, and equipment were stored. These old bunkers can be appreciated during your tour of the natural trails that ends at a wooden lookout point with views of the metropolitan area and Old San Juan.
The Santa Ana Environmental Center, La Sebastiana Equestrian Park and the K-9 Mounted Police unit are located in this Park. You can spend a day in the gazebos, mountain biking or with nature. Space to practice riding, with a stable area for horses.
This park has an area of 93,0777 hectares and is part of the Carso Zone. The Carso Zone is important in Puerto Rico because it affects one of the main recharge systems that supplies the aquifers.
This area has a great variety of forests with a high number of species of flora, native and endemic fauna. It contains species in a critical state of conservation.

Rio Bayamon Lineal Park
Very nice place for jogging and biking. The trail ends on the beach. It's beautiful. Inaugurated in June 2003, this Bayamón park provides visitors with six miles of peaceful biking and walking lanes. The lanes start on the PR-177 road and end on the PR-22 road, with an approximate length of 9.0 kilometers.
The park has a linear walkway with two tracks, one for pedestrians and one for bicycles. The park also has areas for passive recreation, and Zumba and Aerobic classes are offered at no cost from Monday to Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
To guarantee a safe and quiet environment for both the riders and residents of the surrounding areas, the use of any motorized equipment has been prohibited.

Luis A. Ferré Science Park (Parque de las Ciencias) is an educational and recreational park focused on science-related exhibitions. It is one of multiple touristic attractions inaugurated under the leadership of longtime mayor Ramon Luis Rivera, Sr. and is named in honor of former Governor of Puerto Rico Luis A. Ferré.
Some of the main features of the park are a natural observatory set on a hill at 285 feet (87m) above sea level, a zoo, and an artificial lake. Shopping
SHOPPING IN PUERTO RICO
Shopping is the best therapy there is sometimes, and what better time to treat yourself than during vacation?
Puerto Rico has some of the best malls in the Caribbean, so make sure to leave time to shop your way around the Island.
From local makers to global brands, here’s where you can find a wide selection of authentic and truly interesting Puerto Rican souvenirs.
You’ll find a wide variety of shopping stores in Puerto Rico. Whether you’re searching for souvenirs, locally-made hand-crafted items, or major brands, you can peruse and purchase from malls, outlet stores, designer boutiques, and locally-owned shops.
San Patricio Plaza and Galería San Patricio.
This is an iconic Shopping Center that provides lots of food (trendy and non-trendy), shopping, and entertainment. Here you can find TJ MAXX, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walgreens, Capri, and a few other stores
San Patricio Plaza, together with Galería San Patricio (across the street) and some surrounding stores/restaurants form the San Patricio Village. In the Village you can find man’s and women’s clothing boutiques, and restaurants such as Bottles (one of my favorite restaurants), Wilo's Eatery & Bar, Cayo Caribe, Tijuana's, Ikebana Sushi, and more... plus a few fast-food options. There are also stores such as Party City, Office Depot, and Petsmart.
You can also find specialty stores like Metro Comics, Teatro Centro (dancewear, theatrical makeup, and costumes), and Don Rey Cigar Shop. The food court is small and unimpressive.
The best thing the mall has going for it is the newly renovated cinema. It has been turned into a VIP Cinema with a full bar, lobby lounge, recliner seats with footrests, and good food. It's great and not that expensive.
