Good place to stop IF you're visiting the east end of PCB (St. Andrews State Park area) Perfect place to grab lunch or dinner. Outdoor self seating live entertainment relaxed bar. Opens at 11am. Not the best looking bar in town but the people (staff and customers) are always so nice. Winner of the Bloody Mary on the beach! Friday special is Ahi Ahi Tuna with Asian noodles. Specials daily and all the food is amazing. It started as a local favorite for the Navy Divers at NAS (Naval Activity Support) which is a navy base at the beach. Check it out and figure out why they call it "Patches".

Not much ambiance but if your into Korean food this is the best keep secret around. You can shop for your favorite and hard to find ingredients as well as eat in. Seriously, this is a go to to those who know how to do it (and I struggle but find something great every time!)

If you visit the beach I would choose the east end. There is less traffic and some great places to eat around Lower Grand Lagoon This is the easiest beach to access if you choose to go to the beach (30 minutes away). Fish on the jetties, enjoy the tranquility of the shallow protected water (great for kids) Beach store with supplies. Amazing views of the gulf. Large fishing pier. Shuttle service to Shell Island. Wildlife education center. Boat ramp, camping, hicking trails, gator viewing. After your day at the park stop by Patches, Schooners or dat Cajun place for some great good. For breakfast or lunch try Andys Flour Power. Great food all over Lower Grand Lagoon area. Also there are plenty of stores to pick up souvenirs like Alvins Island and Sunsations. Visit east end of PCB
Many of our visitors like to go to Pier Park but please keep in mind it's at least 55 minutes away and traffic can be heavy during the summer. It's much easier to stick to the east end of the beach (30 minutes away) There are some great places to eat around Lower Grand Lagoon. Consider driving business 98 which will give you some water views. Make a day of it and stop by both Historic St. Andrews and downtown Panama City. Both are on the way to lower grand lagoon area. Or head east and visit Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe Beach. Traffic can be heavy when the service members at Tyndal get off
