One of my favorite places is the Pueblo River Walk just 5 minutes away. Lots of sidewalk restaurants and cute little antique shops and ice cream parlors.
You can literally walk to the zoo. There are kiddie rides and great walking and biking trails all through the park.

Take a stroll along the peaceful water, enjoy the many shops, antiques, side walk restaurants, maybe a boat ride and narrated tour of the flood of 1921 that nearly destroyed Pueblo and inspired the making of the river walk.

Food scene
This place is just around the corner...you can walk to it. Has a bar and live music. I find that sometimes the food is wonderful and sometimes just medium depending on the cook. Maybe worth giving it a shot.
