Ecocafé is simple but elegant at the same time, and when I am in Budapest I go every day. I enjoy working there, the staff is nice and their pastries are delicious. It is not the cheapest cafe in Budapest but it is definitely worth a visit if you like good quality food, they also have a very nice salad, smoothies... :)

Arts & Culture
A nice, historical area only a 20 min walk from home. The walk on Andrássy út up to Heroes' square is a nice one, Andrássy út is the widest avenue in Budapest, and you can see nice palaces, embassies on both sides. On the sides of the square itself there is the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Arts.
Behind Heroes' square is the City Park, with the most famous baths, Széchényi fürdő, the zoo, and also Vajdahunyad Castle which was built for the EXPO in 1896.
Have a wonder around! :)

My favourite park in Budapest is only a 25 minute walk or 4 tramstops away from home. There are some nice open air swimming pools, but it is nice to just simply lie in the grass next to the music fountain or rent a bike for two to go around the island.
There is also two nice bars near the entrance from Margit Bridge (open air, so only open in the summer), calle Wndrlnd (drinks, food), and the other one is Holdudvar (drinks, dance).
