This gardens is a cool place to take a picnic or spend and afternoon. It was once a private property, and it was clearly the owner's labor of love. Lush garden paths wind along an old lime rock quarry that is now a pond. This gardens features surprising changes in elevation as well as beautiful plants.

The World Equestrian Center is an equine venue like no other! It features dining, shopping, and entertainment. There are often horse events going on, as well as dog shows, holiday festivities, live music, and great places to eat! This venue is minutes from my farm and definitely a must-see!

Neighborhoods
The Ocala Historic District includes the downtown Ocala Square and the blocks heading east along East Fort King Street. We often walk here in the evenings with our dogs and enjoy the unique turn-of-the-century and Victorian architecture. There is also a renovated movie theater as well as many great places to eat.

The home of the University of Florida, Gainesville is a great place to visit! It has a vibrant cultural scene, including local music (Tom Petty was from Gainesville), museums, Gator sporting events, parks, and a college town feel.
