When in doubt, bring a jacket!
San Francisco is generally temperate and is known for its "micro-climates". Weather can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood (and even more significantly if you're heading out of the city). Even when it's sunny and warm, the wind can pick up and temperatures can drop by mid-late afternoon. Dress in layers, and bring a jacket/coat/jumper just in case!
