Uptown is one of the most visited areas of New Orleans. The famous St. Charles Avenue, Magazine Street and Audubon Park/Zoo are all found uptown and are very easy to navigate by foot once you are in the area. The Streetcar is also a wonderful and unique way to get around and to see the beautiful architecture Uptown has to offer.

It goes without saying that the French Quarter is a must see for visitors. Bourbon Street is the first street that comes to mind when one thinks about the French Quarter, but there are so many other stunning areas to explore. Royal street is home to exquisite art galleries and restaurants, as well as some haunted homes. The history on each street corner will keep you intrigued for hours. I personally love the residential side near Esplanade where all of the colorful houses are. There are also plenty of eccentric dive bars and local restaurants at your fingertips.

The CBD is home to the famous Superdome but also has many fun sites to offer. Many would agree that the CBD has a much different feel from the rest of New Orleans. Instead of the historical & vibrant homes with oak trees, the CBD offers a big city feel with its large buildings and larger streets. Here, you will find some high end restaurants, rooftop bars and upscale hotels with lobby bars. The CBD isn’t too far from the French Quarter which makes it easily attainable if you are in the area.
