Treme Neighborhood
2007 Orleans Ave. is located in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. Treme is the oldest black neighborhood in America. It was also the birthplace of the civil rights movement and home to many jazz musicians.
Treme is home to Dooky Chase and Willie Mae's Restaurant (just a few blocks from the property) as well as the New Orleans African American Museum, St. Augustine Church and a frequent route of many Second Line Parades!
