There is a breathtaking view of Borrego Springs and Imperial Valley just a 1/2 mile hike from the house (turn L onto Lakeview to the end of the street and walk around the metal gate arm and up a sloped hiking trail). There are beautiful hiking trails @ William Heise Co Park and @ Cuyamaca Mtn, Beautiful vista point 2-3 miles south on the 79 when you turn L from Lakeview Dr. Great trout fishing @ Lake Cuyamaca, Wonderful wineries & cideries, U-pick apple orchards and Historic goldmines to visit
