Jason was given a few poults to raise in 2014. Being impressed with the flavor of a pasture raised turkey, he and Chase decided to start raising turkeys as a small business venture. That first year they raised 50 turkeys for Thanksgiving, and sold out. Since few people want whole turkey after the holidays, they began to experiment with their own recipes for turkey pot pie. They were determined to create something people would say "that was the best I've ever had." Their product line of frozen foods has grown to include three flavors of turkey pot pie, three soups, chili, and a line of New York style cheesecakes. Spring 2020 launched the food trailer from which they serve their turkey pot pie, cheesecake, and some items ONLY available from the trailer, such as Turkey Panini, and Smoked Mac & Cheese. Friday nights in the summer and fall you can come to the farm for great food and a relaxing evening with your friends.

At Governor Wentworth Historic Site, explore the remains of an extensive northern plantation built just before the outbreak of the American Revolution. Built by New Hampshire's second Royal Governor, John Wentworth, the mansion burned to the ground in 1820. It has been the site of an archaeological dig where artifacts have been carefully pieced together. The artifacts reveal details about daily life and work methods of the privileged class of the period.

The Wright Museum of World War II is a discovery of celebration relating to Americans' sacrifices and achievements during WWII, and with over 14,000 items in the collection, there is a LOT of discovery waiting to be made!
The items in the collections represent both the home front and the battle field, offering an in-depth look into the reality of the conflict, and how it affected both those on the front line and back home.
The special exhibits and traveling exhibits change, so you can always go back and experience something new on your next visit.
You might learn about the relationship between the nation and Japanese Americans after Pearl Harbor one visit, or it might be exploring artwork from the battlefield on another.

Outdoor Activities
And here's really why you come to the Seven Lakes area and Maine/entry into the White Mountains. The great outdoors! There is WAY too much to do around here to all list here.
Most hiking is NOT listed here. All you need to do is search hiking in the White Mountains, the Belnap Mountains or hiking in the lakes regions of Maine or New Hampshire. This list ever grows - but it's a start to places like golf courses, ski mountains destinations, rail trails, etc.
But it's only a start, no matter how much we put down. If you want to leave the lake, there is a wealth of Mother Nature at your feet.

Romac Orchards was purchased on June 3rd, 2017 by 18 year old- Wil Cote. In High School, Wil studied Agriculture and always had a strong connection working outside, where he felt most productive. When the opportunity presented itself for Wil to bring Romac back to life after being closed for 5 years, he knew it was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. With the help of Three Rivers Land Trust, Wil was able to purchase the land and start his own Small Business Adventure.
