I recommend driving to Monkton on a Friday, Sat or Sunday, park in the lot by the café, and then have a bit of lunch after. They sell gorgeous hand-turned wooden bowls inside if you would like a keepsake!

Itching to get out under some big sky? Cromwell Valley park is a wonderful place to hike and just take a deep breathe and enjoy the air. There are loads of trails, a demonstration garden and some chickens and turkeys if you like gawking at critters.
