The Distillery District is a brick and cobblestone-covered neighbourhood filled with local shops and distilleries. For food, I highly recommend La Carnitas Mexican restaurant and for a quick pick-me-up Balzac's coffee shop is a unique-looking stop. Be sure to check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Nathan Phillips Square is situated in front of the New City Hall (the iconic circular building in Toronto) and beside the Old City Hall (clock-tower building). This spot is best known for the colourful Toronto sign (great picture spot). If coming in the warmer seasons, you will find the sign by a beautiful fountain. In the winter months, Nathan Phillips square feature a fabulous skating rink with skate rentals available for purchase. This spot is only a 12 minute walk from our place and is a must see!

Yonge and Dundas square is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. It often features local events and is surrounded by the CF Eaton Centre Mall, the Cineplex movie theatre as well as other places to eat and drink! This is a must see and only a short ten minute walk from our place!

A big, beautiful park on the outskirts of the city. Very lush and green with plenty of trails for walking and beautiful water and greenery throughout the park.
