Restaurant Recommendations
For dinner going to downtown Paso Robles by the city park has numerous options. One of Cindy's favorites is Fish Gaucho. There are higher end spots like Il Cortile and Bueno Tavola and La Cosecha. Les Petites Canailles has French food. Basil has Thai food and has a wide menu. Catch has fresh seafood as well as Paso Terra, and Thomas Hill Organics has fresh/local options. More casual places are Pappy McGregors, Street Side Ale House, Jeffry's Wine Country BBQ, and Taste! Craft Eatery. There are Pizza & Mexican options, so this only scratches the surface.

Watch the weather
We are about 30 miles from the coast, and the typical Spring/Fall weather is nice during the day, with winds in the afternoon, and cooling down at night. In Summer, it can be extremely hot, and 50 degree (F) temperature swings are common (e.g. 100+ during the day, 50's at night). If you will be out in the evening/nighttime, you may want some sort of covering if weather is cool. There are some balmy nights, but it is more likely to cool off quickly.
