New Forest is synonymous with its native ponies and deer, who can be seen freely roaming and grazing the open heathland as well as happily wandering through the villages and hamlets.
Today its 145 square miles of undisturbed deciduous and coniferous forest provide excellent opportunities for nature watchers, walkers and riders alike.
