The bar is a step back in time. The food is good but do not expect fancy in any manner. Jeans and a t shirt is very acceptable

Fun and historic, this restaurant/local hang out, is great to see and be seen if you love fast motorcycles and beautiful cars. The food is fine but the service can be slow. And weekends can be packed. Go for the ambiance and get a bit to eat as well.

The store has been reopened and revamped. It's a great local store and has supplies that you may need. It also has a deli that will make all kinds of sandwiches, hot and cold. You should check it out!

Beaches
Northern California has it's own twist on how we do beaching. San Gregorio creek empties in the ocean here and in that, after a good storm, brings sometime huge tree limbs which quickly work themselves into drift wood. Sometimes you will find entire shelters made by people on the beach from the limbs that have drifted down from the redwoods.
