This local biofarm is a cute place to take the kids, but also a great place to get traditional homecooked Slovak food. If you fancy a walk through the forest it is possible....about a half hour walk from our house (or a few minutes in the car).

This is a great place to spend time in the summer (usually open June- August, but is dependent on weather). Large outdoor pools, restaurants selling langos, hotdogs, pizza etc. Play park and baby pool for the little ones.

If you are travelling by car and using the highways in Slovakia, you will need a vignette. This can be bought on petrol stations and border crossings or online at the "eznamka" website.
