One of our favorites! Enjoy upscale dining in a 1940s atmosphere. They are famous for their cakes (and monster slices of it!), but the rest of their menu is also fantastic! This Five Points restaurant is within walking distance from the Raleigh Mill House, but we recommend calling at least a few days ahead for reservations.

A fun place within walking distance in the more industrial part of five points. One of the larger and most established local coffee roasters in Raleigh. If you get locally roasted coffee at a coffee shop in Raleigh, it's probably Larry's Beans. If you drop in when they are open, they often have a free cup of coffee for visiting.

The outside doesn't look like much, but if you have never had Peruvian Rotisserie chicken, this is the place to go! We recommend the fried sweet plantains and black beans as sides. And if you like a kick, get the green sauce for dipping.
