Enjoy and evening passieggata (stroll to be seen) along the town walls. Stop for an aperitivo at one of the many bars and watch the sun go down over the sea. Lots of cocktails to choose from and ask for Tris which is a trio of nibbles such as Olives, Nuts and Taralli. (Puglia circular dough rings)

Alberobello has tiny streets so parking can be tricky
There is free on street parking around the town but generally yellow boxes are exclusive to residents. Blue boxes are paid parking. There are two electric charging points in the centre.
Alberobello is built on two hills so best wear comforatable footwear at least until you want to take part in the evening passeggiata along the main street later in the evening.
The rail station has local trains for connections to Bari and Locorotondo. The station itself is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Bus stops to Martina Franca, Bari and Monopoli are located at the train station.

Bring lightweight trainers for exploring the cobbled streets
It can get very hot in July and August so remember to carry water, sunhat and shades. Clothing should be natural fibre and loose fitting.
There are plenty of cashpoints in the town so you don't need to bring large amounts of cash. Some smaller shops are more used to dealing with cash purchases however.
