An awesome breakfast and brunch spot located in downtown carbondale. Order the Huevos Rancheros with corn tortillas, organic eggs, and green chili sauce. You can order a side of Santa Fe Corn Cakes (cornmeal, green chiles, cheese, bacon... delicious!) for just a few dollars extra.

This place is one of Carbondale's most classic visits. This burger spot serves fast food style burgers but using high quality, grass-fed beef from the Crystal River Meats (one of the local ranches here). It is tasty and fairly affordable for such awesome food.
They have some great vegetarian options here as well like the black bean burger. Yum!

Glenwood Springs is lovely! The downtown has been revitalized in recent years making it a great place to spend time and enjoy one of the many awesome restaurants near the Colorado River.
One of the classics is Glenwood Springs hotsprings which is historic and definitely worth visiting. They opened a new Hotsprings called Iron Mountain nearby which I have heard is great, although I haven't personally visited. Perhaps it is a little more focused on an older audience.
The hike to Doc Holiday's gravesite is definitely worth it if you're looking for a short hike. I would estimate it's about 1.5 miles long up a gradually inclined hill. Quite interesting history and offers a great view of Glenwood and the Roaring Fork Valley.

Sightseeing
A classic hike in Carbondale. The city redid the trail system and parking lot in 2020 which added a couple of new hiking trails and scenic lookouts. It is much improved and a can't miss for any visit to the area. Also has great (advanced) mountain biking.
