Not putting this on the list for the accommodation, only for the canoe rentals:) Going on a canoe along river Voxnan is a great way to explore the beauty of Voxnadalen where we live. You’ll go past several wonderful sandy beaches in the middle of the forest, which are perfect for taking swimming stops. These guys offer different packages and drive you to the location with the canoes, and have everything you need for a day on the water. Highly recommend !

In Bollnäs, but worth the drive. Great place for food and fika. Their lunch buffet on weekdays is amazing.
Also the garden center is well worth a visit.

Café on a small “island” only open in the summer. The fika is homemade, mostly by the older ladies at a local church, and you get a lot for your money. Has a small playground for children. Opening hours 13.30-20.00 (every day until mid-august)

We love Persian food! And this place is great. It’s in bollnäs, and a bit tricky to find. But so worth it :)
