Zrmanja canyon is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. I personally go every year.
You can Google Zrmanja rafting / Zrmanja trips or visit Novigrad municipality to join a group trip or even book a private one. Would recommend!

It is an exceptional home of biodiversity for more than 250 species of birds and as well as being a nature park it is also an ornithological reserve.

Zadar is one of the cities that's not skippable, and which should be really high up on your list. It boasts medieval buildings, contemporary monuments and breathtaking views. It's the smoothest blend of ancient and modern in Croatia, which is one reason why you should definitely visit it.

The old town is a web of small streets and narrow alleyways with Gothic and Renaissance buildings, many dating from the time Šibenik was under Venitian rule.
It also counts no less than 4 fortresses, the main one being St. Nicholas’ fortress.
