Fabulous French chain restaurant with great staff. Sunny outside in the mornings for their very well priced breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also exceptional.

This is on the lawn opposite Cote & Boots every other Saturday - check Rushcliffe Borough Council website for dates.
It has many local food producers and a great atmosphere too.
Then go for breakfast at Cote and watch the world go round.

Nice place to take the family to eat - I haven't been there but it gets good reviews. I hear that they have board games etc and there's plenty of space. It always looks busy ( in a good way!)

This place is a little gem - book ahead though, it gets busy.
It's alone on the street (all the other restaurants are on Central Avenue) but these guys run a fabulous little home grown independent real Italian restaurant. You know it's good when it's full of Italians, and it is!
I think they're shut on Sunday but check out their website for updates - you could not be nearer to Trent Bridge Cricket Club, unless you were the wicket keeper!

We like this place - the food is a bit complicated but tasty, the cocktails are nice, once you get them, but you'll happily put up with the wait because the cocktail is really just the cost of entrance to the live music that they put on every night at 9 till closing, it's local and chilled and if you start to dance it can be infectious.
There's a lovely area outside at the front for sunshine in early evening and there's a restaurant section at the back but we recommend the bar.

Great chilled out proper British pub with real ale and no fuss or nonsense.
Food is fine if a bit slow ( hey, who's rushing!?) No slot machines, a nice outside area at the back and down the side - this is a must for a local feel and some Britishness.
They serve crisps and peanuts too if the wait is too long for the food!
Take a pack of cards and chill out. Dogs welcome
