BEST fish and chips. You'll see others, but the locals flock here. It uses beef dripping - one of the last in the south to do so. just unbelievably good and always fresh. There is a secret, big seating area in the back which is fabulous for families

Great swimming and views: voted one of top 3 beaches in the UK in 2020. no shops, no fuss, no bars, just beach huts and a walk/bike path and....the sea. Is deeper than Whitstable proper so high tide lasts longer here.

Where to go to wet your whistle in Whitstable. There are a lot of places in our town but these are the special ones :)
The famous 'Neppy' is not to be missed for the local tradition of a 'sundowner' on the beach. Famously the only pub in Britain that is on the beach. Good home cooking food and great beer

Best pub in the village. Amazing selection of craft beer and real ale, on cask and a special list of about a dozen local (mostly) ciders. Convivial and friendly, and they now also serve a gin lol. A beer paradise.

Best GIN BAR and great craft beer too. Has a sweet little garden. Gets rammed because it's so popular but don't miss it. Best selection of gin you'll see, that changes constantly and is mixed with the right tonic and additions as required. Gin paradise

Walk, don't try to park! or take a really cheap cab
From here it's a pleasant walk to Whitstable proper. Or take a local (not Canterbury but local Whistable cab) it'll be £3-£3.50 to get anywhere in town including a beach. Cab to Windy Corner Cafe or the Hotel Continental to get right next to the beach.
