If you like fishing, kayaking, tubing, and cooling off in a clear river then Audra is the place for you! Middle Fork River is steps away from the cabin and you can take a tube ride down the river and meet up for a picnic at Audra. There's a small store on the way to the park and sometimes there is a cash only food truck at the park. Please note, during the weekends in the summer it gets extremly crowded at the park.

Located about an 1 hour 25 minutes away is a great option for a low-key day trip. You can meander around the towns of Thomas and Davis while supporting local restuarants and shopping. A few of our favorites are: Hellbender Burritos, Sirriani's Cafe, there are two local breweries: Stumptown Ales and Mountain State Brewery and live music at The Purple Fiddle.

Is one of the most best-known landmarks in WV and is one of our favorite places to take a day trip and go hiking. The view from the rocks puts you in the almost heaven state of mind. There is a small place to grab a quick bite to eat at the intersection, not a great selection of food but has the basics.

Located about an hour and a half away to the Eastern part of the state this is one of the more challenging hikes. It is totally worth the work when you get to the summit. Gas up and pack enough water and food as there are not a lot of options to stop once you're out there! The trailhead only has enough spots for 20 cars so go early to ensure you have a place to park.
