Bring appropriate clothing
The valley is usually 8-10 degrees warmer than The Chalet. Make sure you drink plenty of water (and not just vino and other delights).
It gets chilly when the sun goes down, so don't forget to pack a sweater or light jacket.
You are going to walk a lot more then you think you will! Bring comfy shoes.
Spend any time in town and you will see that almost anything goes in the way of fashion...or not.
