Tubing the Comal River starts near Wurstfest grounds before passing through town and alongside Schlitterbahn Waterpark. If you’re looking for a lazy float, this is the river for you! The entire float takes just three hours. It’s mostly tranquil with a couple of man-made rapids like the Tube Chute - a great place to stop mid-float, hang out and people watch.

Famous restaurant in a historic building alongside the scenic Guadalupe River. Listen to the sounds of Gruene Hall right next door or sip on a refreshing beverage while you wait for your table in the outdoor patio area. This place is great for groups, but expect a wait as it is super popular. Everything is good here, but we order the fried shrimp every time!
