This is a popular area for birding, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This trail offers a variety of terrains, with some log crossings, challenging climbs, and muddy areas. Trail indicators can be difficult to follow, so a GPS is suggested. The final destination offers a magnificent view of crashing waterfalls. Hikers recommend bringing hiking shoes, downloading the trail map, bringing water, and packing light.
