Sonny's Neighborhood
From food to home goods, from outdoor to indoor stores, and culture to crafts, Main Street has everything. And, really, if you can't find it at Will Hardware, you don't need it. Livingston Manor is the home of the Catskill Art Society. The main space is under renovation, but stop in at The Laundry King gallery at 65 Main for art and performance art exhibits. The Weekend of Chamber Music concert series will take up residence in mid-July.

Home in Livingston Manor
Livingston Manor is a small community set beautifully in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. The town is flanked on one side by a beautiful Georgian style K-12 school that overlooks the Willowemoc River; one of the best trout streams in the country. The two block Main Street has cafe's, restaurants, some small shops, a local ice-cream stand and some authentic country charm. A bit of a walk or a short drive will take you to a bona-fide covered bridge with a park that sits along the river. A short drive will take you to another Covered Bridge that crosses the historic Beaverkill River where fly-tying was created. There are two outstanding breweries, a wine bar, some restaurants and great opportunities for families and friends to be a part of a welcoming small town community. In the area you'll find hiking trails, street festivals, great restaurants, distilleries, breweries, thrift shops, and antique shops.

The Beaverkill Creek meets the Willowemoc at the famous fly fishing mecca know as the Junction Pool. It's a nice walk or short drive west on Old 17. It's a very popular fishing spot and a beautiful setting to enjoy two of the Catskill's "little rivers".

Visiting Sullivan County's breweries and distilleries
Have a great time tasting the craft beer and spirits produced by Sullivan County's breweries and distilleries. The best way is to have a designated driver or call a limo service to arrange a " tour". Uber and Lyft are not reliable at this time.
I recommend Mark Zager @ 845-798-4756. Tell him Don-dude sent you.

The Manor's new bar - The Walk-In/Stumble-Out
You might have already discovered the Walk-In, the cafe outpost of Neon Croissant at the corner of Main and Pleasant St. in the building locals know of as the old A&P. Well, on Thurdays-Sundays, from 5-11pm, the Walk-In transforms itself into the Walk-In/Stumble-Out. You must stop-in for a cocktail. This is definitely not a reincarnation of Art's Blue Room!!
