Lyme Regis is famous for the scenes in Lady Chatterly’s Lover.
The beaches are beautiful and you might even find a fossil as it is the main fossil hunting area along the Jurassic Coast.
The scenic trip takes under an hour from Castle Cary so a full day can be enjoyed.
The sea water is clean and easily accessible for a swim.
